Since the early 70’s and before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the USSR experienced a unique and period architecture. Editor in chief of French magazine Citizen K Frederick Shoben, fascinated by this period of time in Soviet architecture, a period of seven years were selected and photographed these objects. 

As a result - The book documented 90 buildings located in 14 former Soviet republics. This is an inspiring collection of architectural photography..
